 *Commission Donation percentage is determined by overall final sales price as described below:

0-750,000K                   = 50% Net Commission Donation

750,001-1,500,000        = 40% Net Commission Donation

1,500,001-2,000,000     = 35% Net Commission Donation

2,000,001-3,000,000     = 30% Net Commission Donation

 3,000,001 or MORE        = 25% Net Commission Donation

It's typical or customary for the home seller to pay a Real Estate Agent between 5% & 6% of the sale price of their home at the close of escrow. The listing agent will split that commission with the buyer’s agent, usually 50-50, so they each get 2.5% to 3%. Then out of that, each agent will pay their Broker fees, which is usually a percentage of the transaction. Whatever is remaining after all fees are taken is the Agent net commission. The donation is based on that final net agent commission to the non-profit organization of the client’s choice. Please note that the commissions a home seller pays the listing agent are negotiable in many cases, so this is only a guideline and not necessarily the exact percentage that may be paid on the transaction.
